In the new study, “Jama Dermatology” reported that skin cancer can be detected two new symptoms and pain and itching.
Scientists have studied people with the three most common types of skin cancer and is suffering from basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell and melanoma.
Participants in the experiment were determined the level of pain and itch on a scale of one to 10th.
Experiments have shown that 37 percent of cancerous lesions itch and 28 percent hurt. Both symptoms had 46 percent.
The experiment showed that these symptoms may be masked when it comes to melanoma.
There are three main types of skin cancer — melanoma (the most serious, malignant type), squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. In all three, early detection is crucial.
