Depressed ?? Learn how to fight it

Depression is the one word we can hear from most of the people around us nowadays. But we are not sure about whether they really know about depression , they assume their state to be the so-called depression. A recent study revealed that 80 % of those who are in a depressed state, are not aware of their condition. These statistics surrounding the number of cases of depression is itself a threat to our human society.

Depressions are very rampant in today’s society, this also resulted in the rise of new medications and therapies. For most of us, some days will be rocking , everything goes in a perfect sink. But some days we don’t even know what is missing, but we will have a sadness throughout the day. This is all normal. But when your sadness grows day by day and  it takes you out of your life, then it has to be monitored.

Physical exercise like yoga, jogging or a long walk plays an important role in your fight against depression. Whenever you sweat a lot , your body indulges good blood flow to all your organs , in turn, it refreshes   your energy circle.Most people with depression mainly suffers from a lack of sleep , so by physical workouts, your sleep time will be increased automatically.

Watch your diet:

The things you eat can have an effect on your mental state and depression. If your diet is poor, this may have a negative effect on how you process your thoughts and that leads to a depression cycle that you cannot find a way out of. Stay away from highly fat content foods and also foods that led you to sluggishness.  Keep a watch on your diet chart, balance the nutrients you need for a day.

Own your thoughts:

One important thing you must remember while fighting with your depression is that you own your thoughts , they don’t own you. You should believe and have the desire to come out of your depression. If you start  self-pitying , it led to nowhere other than depression. You should avoid things that lower your mood. If suppose you are in a condition to phase the negative thing you must cross through it. No doctor or no anti-depressants can get you out of there, it is you finally.

If the depression lasts for many numbers of days, then you must consult a qualified professional, to check if you are in fact suffering from a condition that may require therapies or antidepressants. These medications help to restore the chemicals in your brain to a healthier balance.
