Amazing Detox Drink for your regular Bed time Using Turmeric and Coconut Milk

Basically, detoxification means cleaning the blood. This is done by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination. The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin. However, when these systems are compromised, impurities aren’t properly filtered and the body is adversely affected.

When health experts talk about “toxins” they are referring to two different forms of harmful substances that hang out inside your body.  Environmental toxins are carried by external elements like your food or pollution in your environment. Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 small piece of sliced ginger
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (it helps the absorption of turmeric)

Instructions:

In a saucepan, whisk all the ingredients, except for the honey. Cook over medium heat, until you notice bubbles on the surface. Then, lower the heat and leave the flavors to blend for 5 minutes on minimum heat. Then, add the honey, and stir.
